. Shrek goes fourth, or so it was originally titled, will follow Shrek and his adventures. After fighting off dragons, turning fairy godmother into bubbles, and killed Prince Charming, he has now become domesticated.
But he gets tired of it, and he wants get back. He missed the good old days when he was feared by many. In fact, nobody is even disgusted with him anymore. He had trouble keeping his “fear me” persona because he was juggling his time and life being married to Princess Fiona, taking care of his three kids, changing diapers, and basically being a domesticated family guy. Gone are the Ogre Days when everybody looked at him as an ugly, disgusting ogre.
In the thriller Shrek was tricked by Rumplestiltskin and he signed a contect to bring his ogre. But to his shock, things didn’t go well as planned. He was thrust into an alternate world were Shrek never ever existed in Far Far Away. He lives where ogres are hunted, including Princess Fiona and which they have never met, and Rumplestiltskin is the king. Donkey is now a dirty piece of ass, or donkey, spending his day hauling carts. And Puss in Boots does not wear boots.
He is fat and pudgy. He does not have his hat, boots, and sword, but a pink ribbon tied to his fat neck. It is now up to Shrek in order to save his friends, bring back the life he wanted, and regain the love of his life that he once had.
